Waxing - perron rigot
At The Bristol Beauty Vine I use only the finest quality french wax Perron Rigot Cristal Océan hypoallergenic strip wax & Lavender strip wax. Having tested numerous products I have decided that Perron Rigot is truly the best wax currently on the market and I am confident you will agree.
Please note that hair needs to be at least 5mm to be waxed sufficiently. Results will not be the same with shorter hair!

To ensure you get the best results......
Before treatment please ensure you:
Refrain from use of sunbed before or after waxing
Avoid the use of body scrubs before or after waxing
No spray tans before or after waxing
avoid hot showers/baths before or after treatment
As our pain threshold is at its lowest during menstruation, it’s best to avoid this time when booking your wax. Lack of sleep and excessive alcohol the night before can lead to more pain as well
Make sure that the area to be waxed is clean and has no broken skin, scratches or bruising.
If you have Diabetes or use Retin A treatment cannot proceed.
After Waxing:
Please note: some soreness, small bumps and redness are common and perfectly normal reactions, particularly if this is your first treatment. These symptoms will subside over the next 24/48 hours.
Keep the waxed area clean, avoid heat and friction during the first 24/48 hours after waxing, this means:
No hot baths or showers (cool to lukewarm water only)
No saunas, hot tubs or steam rooms
No sport, gym or other exercise
Avoid scratching or touching the treated area with unwashed hands
wear clean, loose fitting clothes
avoid swimming
do not apply deodorant, body spray, powders, lotions, make-up to the area
To soothe and protect the skin, apply an antiseptic cream to the waxed area and to prevent ingrown hairs afew days after treatment start to gently scrub the area 3 times a week and moisturise every day.
